Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 10, 2025
At Twone, we value clarity and openness about how we collect, store, and share your information.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Twone app, websites, events, and any other services (collectively, the “Services”). If a service requires its own privacy policy, that policy applies rather than this one.
1. Information We Collect
By using our Services, you agree to provide us certain information, such as:
- Account information: When creating an account, you provide your name, date of birth, phone number, and/or email address.
- Profile information (optional): When completing your profile, you may opt to share your gender identity, pronouns, and photos.
- Events and participation: When you participate in events, promotions, contests, surveys, or focus groups, we may collect the information you provide and your responses.
- Customer support: If you contact customer support, we receive and collect the information you provide as required.
- User content and messaging: When you publish content and chat with other members, we process the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You can review your information by logging into your Twone account. It is your responsibility to ensure your information is accurate.
We may also collect information about you as provided by other members, including (but not limited to) data shared with other user(s) through your account and reports made regarding your profile.
With your consent, we may collect:
- Geolocation data (such as longitude and latitude). You can turn this off in your phone’s settings.
- Photos for use on your profile.
We strongly encourage you to be mindful of the information you disclose on your profile and in communications with other users. We do not recommend sharing personal information such as your address, financial details, IDs, or other sensitive details.
Cookies and Similar Technology
When you use our app, we may collect personal data through cookies or similar technologies. To learn more, please refer to our Cookie Policy below.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information primarily to improve our Services and your experience. We may use your information to:
- Offer our Services to you
- Provide and contact you about the app (e.g., updates and new features)
- Deliver personalized content and operate advertising and marketing campaigns
- Gather and research analytics about how you interact with the app
- Resolve disputes or problems, and enforce our Terms and Conditions
- Detect fraud, protect our rights, and ensure legal compliance
Moderating Content
To keep our community safe, we may monitor and review user-submitted content, including photos and other uploaded information, published posts, and messages, to ensure that content on Twone adheres to our Terms and Conditions. If a profile, content, or interaction is deemed inappropriate (based on our criteria and/or as outlined in our Terms and Conditions), the relevant user(s) may receive a warning and be placed under restrictions and/or blocked from the app.
Because we may not be able to address every instance immediately, we ask users to promptly report content and/or activity that may breach our Terms and Conditions.
3. How We Share Information
Twone’s main goal is to bridge the brief spontaneous connections you make in real life to a more meaningful connection through our app. The primary way we share your information is with other users. We may also share limited user information with service providers who help us operate and optimize our Services. We may share user information with legal authorities as needed to comply with regulatory measures.
With Other Users
Your information is shared with other users only with your explicit consent to publish content, connect with, or message another user through the app. Our role is limited to facilitating your authorized publication and interactions. We do not share your information with other users beyond your permissions.
However, we strongly urge you to share only what you feel comfortable sharing, and to operate under the assumption that anything you post or publish may be viewed and accessed by other users and non-users.
With Service Providers
We use third parties to assist us in operating and optimizing our Services (e.g., hosting, analytics, customer care, marketing). We may share strictly necessary information with third-party service providers. We perform due diligence to ensure our providers maintain data protection and information security measures and agree to strict confidentiality obligations.
Corporate Transactions
We may transfer your information if we are involved (in whole or in part) in a merger, sale, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, bankruptcy, or other change of ownership or control.
With Law Enforcement
We may share your information if necessary to comply with legal process, assist law enforcement regarding a crime as applicable by law, or protect the safety of any person(s).
To Enforce Legal Rights
We may share information relevant to defending legal claims, protecting legal rights, and investigating real or suspected illegal activity.
4. Your Rights
Your information is (and should always be) in your control. Your privacy rights may vary depending on your location.
Access to Your Information
You have the right to know what personal data we collect and why, and the right to access the information we keep about you. You can also request a copy of your data. Requests can be sent to support@twone.app.
Changes to Your Information
If your information is inaccurate, or you would like to request rectification, erasure, object to or restrict processing, please contact support@twone.app.
You have the right to equal services without discrimination.
For safety and security reasons, we may ask you to verify your identity before we can fulfill requests. We may also be unable to answer certain requests; if so, we will notify you.
California Consumer Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:
- The right to request disclosure of certain information collected, and how we collected, used, and shared personal information over the past 12 months.
- The right to request deletion of personal information collected.
- The right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including via the GPC.
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising CCPA rights.

5. Policy Regarding Age
We do not permit users under the age of 18 on the Twone app or Services under any circumstances. Our Services are strictly restricted to individuals 18 and older.
If you suspect a user is under 18 or misrepresenting their age, please report them using the report function in the app. Once we become aware of the situation, we will investigate and take appropriate measures, including (but not limited to) termination of the account.
6. How Long We Retain Your Information
We retain personal information only as long as needed for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable law.
When you delete your account (or it is deactivated by us), your account and profile will no longer be visible to other users. Upon deletion, there is a safety retention window of three (3) months. If deletion follows an account ban, your information may be retained for up to one (1) year to allow necessary investigations of unlawful conduct.
Deletion may be subject to the following exceptions:
- Retention required to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax and accounting).
- Retention required for legitimate business interests (e.g., enhancing security, preventing banned users, improving customer care records, enforcing our rights).
- Retention required while an outstanding issue, claim, or dispute remains unresolved.
7. Privacy Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we expand and improve our Services. We will notify you of changes via email, an in-app notice, a notice on the Services, or other applicable methods.

Last updated: December 10, 2025
This Cookie Policy describes how Twone (“App” or “Services”) uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with our Site and Services. Any capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning assigned in the Privacy Policy.
Twone uses cookies and similar technologies to record log data and help you stay logged in. We use both session-based and persistent cookies. Session-based cookies last only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it. Persistent cookies last until you or your browser delete them or until they expire.
Log-in cookies are associated with your Twone account and personal information to remember you are logged in. Other cookies are not tied to your Twone account but are unique and allow us to do analytics and customization.
Twone sets and accesses its own cookies on company-owned domains. We also use third parties like Google Analytics for website analytics. You may opt out of third-party cookies on their respective websites.
We do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals because there is no consistent industry standard for compliance.
